Since the village has been known for years as the meeting point of artists from all over Europe, the aim of the White Village architects was to orchestrate a complex array of interior and exterior spaces, which would harmonically combine tradition with minimalist and modern facilities. While giving an intense attention to detail through decorating ideas, the property laid out on 1500 m2, adapted unique elements from the village and enriched them through innovative inspirations. Therefore, the design intention was to seamlessly blend the structure of the White Village into the texture of the existing traditional village.On balconies overlooking the Aegean, the 12 Luxury Villas and Suites of the White Village share the same taste of elegance and style, while each house maintains an individual ambiance depending on its different decorating touches. All bedrooms contain luxurious COCO-MAT mattresses and luxury items such as of fine linen, towels, and natural bath amenities. Specially executed forged-cement technique has been used in many parts of the interior of the Villas giving aesthetically the feeling of Aegean architecture. Traditional style sitting areas are set on a large elevated wooden platform, called by locals “sofas” or “pataros”, while in an effort to retain the image of the old village houses, white washed reeds with wooden beams have been used for the living room’s ceiling.
