Villas is just 10m from Trani Ammouda or Livrochio, one of the biggest beaches of Sithonia region, right outside Agios Nikolaos and really close to Ormos Panagias and Vourvourou. It is an amazing sand beach with clean, sapphire waters. At the northern part of the beach, in the small cape, there are the ruins of a Byzantine tower, which was probably part of a monastery. It is worth taking a walk up to this location, and explore the place by enjoying the view of the beach and the Mount Athos Gulf. At the port of Ormos Panagias, 1000m from Villas, you can find fish shops where they sell fresh fish daily supplied by local fishermen. The area of Sithonia, Halkidiki is ideal for exploration and trekking tours. Moreover, you can take the boat from the Ormos Panagias and have the tour of Mount Athos peninsula. Last but not least, you can visit the Agios Arsenios and Timios Prodromos Monastery, at 10km distance in Metamorfosi, as well as the Monastery of Panagia at Ormilia.
